Jetbrains Toolbox is intended to help you install, update, and remove various JetBrains tools (IDEs, utilities and extensions), which are targeted towards software developers and project managers. The program has an easy-to-use interface with two tabs: one devoted to managing JetBrains projects and the other for maintaining their tools.
Having a tab specifically meant to manage your projects comes in extremely practical. It means that you can access all your current projects from a single place, even if they were created on different IDEs. Yet, the main function of Jetbrains Toolbox is related to managing such products as IntelliJ IDEA, PhpStorm, Rider, PyCharm, ReSharper, RubyMine, DataGrip, GoLand, CLion, ReSharperC++ and icon_AppCode. This way, it supports operations like downloading and installation of any of these products, updating ones already installed (even in batches) as well as uninstalling those you no longer need. Likewise, the toolbox is very convenient when it comes to managing product versions. In this respect, it supports handling various versions of the same Jetbrains product at the same time. Similarly, it lets install the desired version (not necessarily the latest), roll back to a previous one and uninstall the product altogether.
